The story revolves around Dr. Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo), who began the show as a surgical intern at the fictional Seattle Grace Hospital in Seattle, Washington. She and the other former interns became residents at the end of Season 3. The show features an ensemble cast, though Meredith is featured as the central character, providing voice-over narration at the beginning and end of most episodes. The title of the show is an allusion to the anatomy textbook Gray’s Anatomy, and play on the central character’s (Meredith Grey’s) name.
Every episode title comes from the title of a song.

Family Guy is an American animated tv show about a mad family that lives in the fictional town of Quahog, Rhode Island.

It was created by Seth MacFarlane for Fox Broadcasting Company in 1999. The show uses frequent “cutaway gags”, jokes in the form of tangential vignettes that do not advance the story.
Family Guy was canceled once in 2000, and again in 2002, but strong DVD sales and the large viewership of reruns on Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim convinced Fox to resume the show in 2005. It is the first canceled show to be resurrected based on DVD sales.

In this article I will list down the search tricks which I use quite frequently. Be it finding time, meanings or watching the cricket score, searching PDF’s, with Google as the search engine life cannot be more simpler. Here are the 10 most amazing Google Search tricks:
1. Different Types of Files at your willHow many times would you have asked for materials (PDF, PPT, DOC) for a particular topic from a friend? Its almost everyday that we might have the necessity to ask them either for knowledge, preparing a presentation, white-paper or for case studies. Such times it mostly difficult to look out what to exactly search for because most of the times you don’t know about the topic at hand. But this petty keyword unleashes its lethal power at such occasions.
Let’s say I want to implement a case study on SOA which means I have to read a lot of information for SOA. So I just have to find materials which might have already been uploaded on the web in the form of PDF’s, DOC’s or PPT’s. These materials can be easily obtained by doing a search for:

2. Scholarly SearchIf you want some authenticity of the materials then it would be better to find the materials from educational institutes or universities. For this use the Google scholar search. 3. Meanings of any word in an instantNow you do not have to carry a dictionary or install a dictionary software just for the purpose of finding out a meaning of a word. With the wealth of information in Google’s hands, its a piece of cake to find out the meaning of the word. Just use the define: keyword. The meaning would of course be displayed but also a set of other links which might have an alternative definition are also given out with the link to read more about it.

You would argue here that, a dicitionary gives out more information than this. But what about words that don’t actually fall within the vocabulary. Suppose you want to know what SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) is then you would have no choice. Google Search comes to your rescue in this case,

4. Find the time of any locationMany of us might be probably working for client which are based at different locations. And communication has to be carried out frequently carried out in such cases. But before a communication you have to know which time zone the location is falling into otherwise you would be causing a disturbance.
I have seen people installing time zone software for showing the time of the location they would be calling to. But with Google at your hands you don’t have to install any software. It would be just simple to use a query for finding the current time such as,

psst….look closely the time on the little clock graphic. It also shows the perfect time!
5. Weather at your fingertipsI had been to GOA for a Christmas vacation in the last week of December. But I made a mistake of not finding out the temperature of GOA before leaving. Had I known that it is hot even in the winter I would not have made the mistake of carrying additional luggage consisting of blankets and jackets.
If you are thinking to visit a place it is useful to know what the temperature of the place is before hand, it can make efficient packing. Google helps you here too. Just use this query without asking anybody or waiting for the news to make a weather report. I wish I had thought of this!

6. Google does live commentary too!Indians are cricket fanatics. But its amusing to see the organizations here trying to put together tactics to devoid cricket lovers from wasting time to watch the cricket scores instead of doing their work. What I think they fail to understand is that by blocking the live cricket scoring sites they are actually making the employees more curios and provoking them to hunt for proxy networks or listen to the radio or chat with their friends elsewhere.
Jokes apart, you actually don’t need proxy networks to view the live cricket scores if you at least have access to Google. If you want to find the latest info about all the cricket matches then just type,

But if you want to find out only about a particular match then use only the names of the two playing nations,

Remember that the scorecard will come only when the play is going on.
7. Calculate with your browserEvery OS has a calculator inbuilt but when the browser is the thing which is constantly open whey bother to open up a calculator. Open Google and straight away type your mathematical expression. You can go all the way from basic arithmetic to trigonometrical expressions. This is simply amazing stuff accomplished by Google.

8. Compare your currency with othersNow that the dollar is declining, the rest of the world must be busy trying to check the impact of the dollar on their currencies. But first of all one must know how much a particular currency amounts to when cashed in another currency. Google’s inbuilt currency converter just does this.

9. Keep track of the stocksWith the booming stock market it is very important to track the stocks on a day to day basis. Putting a stock ticker in the search box is the most obvious thing you would think of. But it is not always you would remember the stock ticker, you should add the keyword “stocks:” to the company name.
The best part of the obtained result is that it provides a chart which shows the trend in the company’s stock along with important statistics.

10. Wanna find some faces?This is most interesting trick. You might be needing images for various occasions and searching for images is the most difficult thing because what we expect might not be possibly mapped to a query. But Google has a parameter in place for images in situations we need an image which describes a face.
Suppose I search for the term “happy” then the Google results page displays smileys. But I would like to use images of happy people. Even if I choose the term as “happy face” the results don’t show images which contain people. For this there is a parameter “imgtype” which you can use with the URL. For this put in the URL as follows:

There are many more variations which can be bought about with the above tricks thus making your search experience not only enriching but also exciting. If I have missed any tricks of common usage, feel free to mention it.

'CSI" is officially the most popular TV show on the planet.
According to a new study, nearly 84 million viewers around the globe watched the CBS crime drama in 2007.
It beat out its sequel, "CSI: Miami," and "House," according to the ratings firm Eurodata, which ranks shows by their worldwide ratings.
With 61.5 million viewers, "Desperate Housewives" snagged the title of top comedy, while "The Bold and the Beautiful" was dubbed the most-watched soap in the world (26.2 million viewers).
The biggest show in the US, "American Idol," did not place because different versions of it are seen in different countries.
"CSI" debuted in 2000 and has been renewed for a ninth season. It follows a group of Las Vegas crime scene investigators who use science and high-tech gizmos to solve grisly murders.
It has spawned two popular spinoffs so far, "CSI: Miami" and "CSI: New York."

I personally did not get into and so think its no where near as good as Lost or Heroes. What do you think??

'Hannah Montana' - Miley Cyrus talks about her new movie

HOLLYWOOD — Disney's unstoppable juggernaut hit "Hannah Montana" is moving to the big screen, and the finish line is getting closer for the April 10 release. Now, one of Miley Cyrus' co-stars is spilling details on the sweet scenes, secret guest stars and star-worthy acting that will make the flick much different from the TV show.
"We are so not even supposed to talk about it," grinned Mitchel Musso, who plays Cyrus' funny friend Oliver (and Mike) in both the show and movie versions of "Montana," when we caught up with him this week on the red carpet for the premiere of the new Jonas Brothers movie. "But, there are some very big people."
The first of these top-secret guest stars also makes an appearance in "Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience." "Taylor Swift is in the movie," the 17-year-old Musso revealed. "She's hilarious, and unbelievably talented."

"I hate hiding it," Musso said, letting it slip that the other big names showing up in "Hannah Montana: The Movie" aren't merely Disney talents. "I'm saying big, feature-film stars and big musicians." Everyone from Tyra Banks to Vanessa Williams to Dolly Parton is rumored to be in the cast (and those three are even listed on the flick's IMDb page).
As for his favorite scene in the movie, the young comedic actor said he'll never forget the first day he was on the set. "I think my favorite scene was when I blow up a cake all over the place," he grinned. "Lily [played by Emily Osment], Miley's best friend, has this 5-foot-tall cake. Of course, it's not a real bomb. But I hadn't seen the cast in a year-and-a-half, and the first day of filming was just watching them get covered in cake from me.
"I was just watching it, all squeaky clean," he laughed. "They had these 3-foot-wide cannons, filled with ice cream and cake and stuff to shoot all over them! It was hilarious. I'm sorry Miley and Emily and Billy Ray!"
When it isn't soaking the cast in sweets, however, "Hannah Montana: The Movie" will aim to show a more real side of Miley's life — and her relationship with her home state of Tennessee, where much of the movie was filmed.
"It has a lot more drama," Musso explained. "There's a lot of sentimental things [in the script] that came from her heart and Billy Ray's heart, because that's where they live. They shot in all the areas they used to hang out in.
"Miley doesn't want to be Hannah Montana," he said of the film's plot. "She wants to go back [home] and be her own thing, and falls in love with a boy there and doesn't want to leave.
"It's a little bit more mature, but still very family friendly," Musso said of the biggest differences between the "Hannah Montana" show and the upcoming movie. "The new movie, first of all, you're going to get a lot of different camera angles; it's going to look like a different thing. In the [TV show], we only have one or two camera angles, so we film over and over again. In the movie, it's more us. Not so much energy, more like real people.
"I've seen it, it's awesome," Musso revealed. "I can't wait for it to premiere."

Paparazzi hunts for the not-very-elusive Megan Fox may have just gotten even easier. Fresh off her rumored break up from fiancé Brian Austin Green earlier this week, the Transformers vixen has checked into West Hollywood boutique hotel, Palihouse, a source tells E! News.
While Fox, 22, was photographed leaving Green's house yesterday morning, and later visiting his 6-year-old son at his L.A. elementary school, she was also seen coming and going from Palihouse.
A Palihouse rep would not say whether the actress is a hotel guest, and neither of the actors' reps have returned E!'s calls to confirm the break up.
Fox and old-school 90210 star Green have been together more than five years and until this week she was living with Green in his Hollywood Hills home.

Britney Spears comeback tour in trouble

There’s a good deal of worrying going on behind the scenes of Britney Spears’ comeback tour. And the worry isn't centered around whether Spears will show and perform well, it’s that there won’t be many people in the audience to witness it.

At press time, there were still plenty of tickets left for the first show of the tour on March 3 in New Orleans.

“Group sales are down considerably,” says one person close to the production, “and then you’ve got individual tickets that cost as much as $500 apiece. That’s a lot of money to spend on an artist who isn’t a sure bet right now.”

The source maintains that those who did pony up for seats won’t be let down.
“She’s worked really, really hard to make this good. Granted, there’ve been some hiccups along the way, but she’s going to put on a good show. I just hope there are people there to see it,” says the source. “This is really her last chance.”

LEDGER WINS GOLDEN GLOBE AWARD Heath Ledger was posthumously awarded a Golden Globe Award for his performance in ''The Dark Knight'' yesterday evening (Jan 11, 2009).

The Australian actor – who died of an accidental overdose of prescription drugs last January, aged just 28 – won the award for Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of villain The Joker in the Batman blockbuster.

"The Dark Knight" director Christopher Nolan accepted the accolade on Heath's behalf, making an emotional speech while the star-studded audience gave a standing ovation.

He said: "On behalf of all of us who worked with Heath on 'The Dark Knight,' I accept this with mix of sadness and incredible pride. He will be eternally missed but he will never be forgotten."
The Ledger family did not attend the ceremony for "personal reasons," but his father Kim insisted they were there in spirit. Kim said: "We are overjoyed for him. It's wonderful."
Also celebrating success at the ceremony, which was held at The Beverly Hilton hotel in Beverly Hills, was Mickey Rourke who won the Best Actor in a Drama prize for his portrayal of a down-and-out grappler in "The Wrestler."

The 56-year-old actor told a cheering crowd: "It's been a very long road back for me."
It was also a big night for British actress Kate Winslet, who took home two statuettes for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in "The Reader" and Best Actress in a Drama for "Revolutionary Road."

She paid tribute to her "Revolutionary Road" co-star Leonardo DiCaprio – who she first starred with 1997's "Titanic" – in her acceptance speech, saying: "Leo, I am so happy I can stand here and tell you I love you, and have for 13 years."

my xbox 360 has 3 red lights on

My xbox 360 has developed 3 red lights. I called microsoft and they told me I could send it to them and they would fix it for 80 pounds and it takes 3 weeks. This is disgusting behavour on their part. I was disgusted. anyway, i went to youtube and watched every video that showed how to fix the xbox problem and they were mainly all rubbish, as i found out later that each video has something or other missing, so unless you add all the videos up together, you wont get the complete fix.

I decided I would give it a go and to my surprise, I finally fixed it and have fixed 4 others since then. I have taught myself everything you need to know and more importantly, IT COSTS NO MONEY AT ALL, AND I HAVE NO ELECTRONICS OR ELECTRICAL BACKGROUND OR KNOWLEDGE.

I have a suspicion that nobody will read this article, so i wont go into to much detail, unless someone asks. The simple points are these:
1) open the thing and take out the motherboard.
2) clean the chip and put thermal gel/soudo cream on it.
3) put 8 washers under some screws.
4) start it up and it will show 3 lights.
5) let it run for 2.5 minutes and the lights will turn to 2 light.
6) put it back together and wait 2 hours and keep it in a cool place.

THATS IT. It is so easy that I am amazed that people actually sell this information. I feel that its so easy anybody at all can do it. If you want detailed instructions and a few links to the correct videos, let me know and I will post them.
